Research is an integral part of my professional practice, reflecting a commitment to advancing evidence-based dentistry and translating scientific knowledge into meaningful clinical applications. My academic work encompasses prosthodontics, implant dentistry, biomaterials, maxillofacial rehabilitation, oral cancer, regenerative dentistry, and interdisciplinary oral healthcare.
Through my research, I have explored clinically relevant questions as well as emerging technologies and biomaterials, with an emphasis on understanding their biological behaviour, mechanical performance, clinical applicability, and potential to improve patient outcomes. My work includes original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and interdisciplinary investigations, allowing me to approach clinical problems from both evidence-based and scientific perspectives.
I have also been involved in research examining advanced biomaterials, implant-related technologies, regenerative approaches, oral rehabilitation, and cancer-related applications, with research contributions published in internationally recognised Q1 and Q2 journals.
This section brings together my published research and academic contributions, providing an overview of the scientific work I have undertaken alongside my clinical training. I believe that continual engagement with research is essential to remain at the forefront of contemporary dentistry and to ensure that clinical decisions are guided not only by experience, but also by evidence, critical appraisal, and scientific innovation.
